Attenborough Nature Reserve, Nottinghamshire

Eurasian Coot (Fulica atra)

It has been very quiet at Attenborough the last couple of weeks and it has been a struggle to find anything worth photographing on the rare days when the light has been good. Today was one of those rare, sunny days but I was again left with nothing but extremely common birds, such as Coots, Mallards and Robins, to point my camera at.
