
Early Purple Orchid
 
      Early Purple Orchid is common and widespread throughout Britain and Western Europe. It occurs in a variety of habitats from full sun to full shade on a range of soil pH in both damp and dry conditions. As its vernacular name suggests, it flowers early in the year.
