Forest Raven

The Forest Raven is the only crow found on Tasmania and is the commonest crow on Wilson's Promontory.  In comparison to the other corvids of southeastern Australia, it is quite stocky in appearance and has relatively shorter wings and tail.  When perched the wing tips are level with the tip of the tail (in both Australian Raven and Little Raven the tail extends significantly beyond the wing tips.
