Green-brindled Crescent is found throughout mainland Britain and is most abundant in the edges of deciduous woodlands and lightly wooded scrub.
The larvae feed mostly on Hawthorn and Blackthorn, but will also eat Wild Cherry and Cotoneaster spp.
