The Corinnidae used to form part of the catch-all taxon of Clubionidae, however, it is now recognised that pretty much the only common denominators between them various groups formerly included in Clubionidae is the arrangement of their eight equally-sized eyes into two rows and touching conical anterior spinnerets.
