Red-and-Green Macaw is very similar to the slightly smaller Scarlet Macaw, the main difference being in the lack of yellow in the upperwing. Both species are present in the photo below...
Although generally uncommon throughout tropical South America, it is the commonest of the large macaws to visit the clay-lick at Tambopata.
