A trip down to Gigrin Farm on a beautiful sunny day yielded the usual bounty of flight shots of Red Kites and crows...
On another sunny day I took a midweek hike up Snowdon in the foolish hope it would be reasonably quiet.
The approach to the summit up the Watkin's Path was just how I was hoping it would be and, other than the 6 or so people I passed on the way up, I had the place pretty much to myself. The summit, however, was a different matter.
It is a truly surreal experience to climb a mountain in isolation then, on reaching the summit, being confronted by a crowd of about 200 people. It was just like being in Liverpool city centre...Absolute purgatory! I didn't even stop to catch my breath on the top and escaped to the relative solitude of the Snowdon Ranger's Path as quickly as possible.
